Yolanda Ruiz Dies, Adreanna Watters Detained after Hit-and-Run on Mooney Boulevard

 
VISALIA, CA (November 9, 2022) — Yolanda Ruiz died while Adreanna Watters was arrested after a hit-and-run on Mooney Boulevard on Wednesday night, October 19.

The fatal incident occurred before 9:00 p.m. near Tulare Avenue, according to the Visalia Police.

Authorities said a vehicle being driven by 22-year-old Watters traveled southbound on Mooney Boulevard when she collided with the 63-year-old Ruiz.

Ruiz received transportation and treatment at a hospital, where she later died.

Meanwhile, Watters fled the collision site before turning herself into the police soon after. Officials then found the involved vehicle at the Visalia Mall.

The case is still under investigation. No other information is made available.
