Billie Edwards and Carolyn Sue Rose Hit, Killed by Car in Atwater

 
ATWATER, CA (November 9, 2022)Carolyn Sue Rose and Billie Edwards died after being struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian crash on Augusta Lane and Juniper Avenue on Wednesday morning, November 2.

The fatal collision involved a black Chrysler MiniVan, according to the Atwater Police Department which dispatched officers to the scene at around 9:30 a.m.

Authorities said the minivan headed west on East Juniper Avenue when it went off the road before slamming into the 76-year-old Rose and the 73-year-old Edwards. It then ended up crashing into a light pole.

The force of impact inflicted fatal injuries to Rose and Edwards, both of whom died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and opted to cooperate with investigators.
