Fatal Car Crash on Bellaire Boulevard in Houston
HOUSTON, TX (January 24, 2024) – The Houston Police Department confirmed that a 22-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash on Bellaire Boulevard on January 18.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Waldo Street shortly before 8:00 AM. Based on a report, the woman was driving a Toyota RAV4 along Waldo Street during the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, the victim tried to make a left turn at a stop sign onto Bellaire Boulevard and a blue Mini Cooper hit her.
As a result, the woman suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release her name, pending kin notification.
Crews took the driver and passenger in the Mini Cooper to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police questioned the 18-year-old driver who did not show signs of intoxication.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
