FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ (January 24, 2024) — A man suffered serious injuries after pedestrian accident on La Montana Drive on Friday, January 19.
 
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s, the crash took place near La Montana Drive and El Lago Boulevard.
 
Emergency responders transported the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Deputies say the driver remained at the scene. However, there are no reports whether alcohol, speed, or weather conditions contributed to the crash.
 
Authorities closed the intersection during an on-scene investigation. They reopened it a little before 1:00 p.m.
