AURORA, CO (January 24, 2024) – The Aurora Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Montview Boulevard on January 20.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Elmira Street around 5:45 PM. Based on a report, the man was crossing Montview Boulevard during the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a sedan driving eastbound on the road hit him.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries in the incident. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the sedan, an adult woman, stayed on the scene and cooperated with police.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
