Kiarra Monaghan Identified in Fatal High-Speed Crash on Highway 512 in Puyallup

 
PUYALLUP, WA (January 24, 2024) – Troopers identified 29-year-old Kiarra Monaghan of Sumner as one of the five people who died in a fiery crash on Highway 512 on January 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near the 31st Avenue overpass near South Hill Mall. Based on a report, Monaghan was driving a 2017 Ford Flex SUV at a high rate of speed before the crash.
 
A witness said the vehicle was going at least 100 miles per hour when it slammed into a concrete pillar and burst into flames. The force made the SUV catch fire and eject one passenger onto the road.
 
As a result, all occupants of the vehicle died before help could arrive.
 
The medical examiner’s office identified the four children killed in the crash as 3-year-old Amiyah Eutimio, 11-year-old Amiira Little, 11-year-old TaeShon Manuel and 12-year-old Noah Monaghan.
 
Officials identified two children, Noah Monaghan and Amiyah Little, as Kiarra’s children. In additional, they added that the remaining two 11-year-old victims were both from Tacoma.
 
However, details are pending toxicology reports from the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
