Archie Reed and Natalie Jordan Injured in Lufkin Crash on Highway 103

 
LUFKIN, TX (January 24, 2024) – Officers identified 21-year-old Natalie Jordan of Pollok and 65-year-old Archie Reed of Lufkin who suffered injuries in a crash on Highway 103 on January 18.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Stubblefield Drive around 5:30 PM. Based on a report, Jordan was traveling westbound on the highway in a 2012 Toyota passenger car before the crash.
 
At the same time, Reed was going eastbound in a 2010 Ford pickup truck. Due to unknown reasons, Reed braked due to another vehicle waiting to turn left onto Stubblefield Drive. Subsequently, the truck pulled into the westbound lanes and struck the Toyota.
 
As a result, Jordan and Reed sustained injuries in the crash. Crews took Jordan to a Tyler hospital by medical helicopter for treatment. They transported Reed to St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
