Bicyclist Hit, Injured by Car on 85th Street [Kirkland, WA]

One Seriously Injured in Bicycle Accident on Northeast 85th Street in Kirkland

 
KIRKLAND, WA (April 25, 2023) – Officers responded to a bicycle accident on Northeast 85th Street on April 21.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened in the 11700 block of eastbound 85th Street.
 
Based on a report, the bicyclist was traveling on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came and struck the victim.
 
As a result, the victim sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
 
The vehicle continued up the street and pulled over to a safe space. Police said the driver had no signs of being impaired.
 
At this point, an investigation into the accident is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
