Head-On Car Crash on Highway 101 in Skokomish

 
SKOKOMISH, WA (April 25, 2023) – Officers confirmed that a 54-year-old driver and a 32-year-old female passenger were hurt in a head-on crash on Highway 101 on April 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Skokomish River Road. Based on a report, the victims were headed north on the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, another vehicle was headed south on the same highway. Subsequently, the victims failed to yield and turned left in front of the other vehicle, causing a head-on crash.
 
As a result, the victims suffered injuries in the incident. Crews took the driver to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and the passenger to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
 
The occupants of the other vehicle were not hurt.
 
At this point, an investigation into the accident is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
