Two Hospitalized after Motorcycle Accident on 90 Freeway near Washington-Idaho State Line

 
LIBERTY LAKE, WA (October 1, 2024) — Two people sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident on 90 Freeway on Saturday, September 21.
 
According to Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred on 90 Freeway near the Washington-Idaho state line at around 10:30 a.m.
 
WSP said a 2024 Nissan Titan in the left lane of 90 Freeway eastbound was behind a BMW motorcycle and struck the bike. The collision caused the truck and the motorcycle to end up in the median between 90 Freeway eastbound and 90 Freeway westbound.
 
The impact ejected the 32-year-old motorcyclist from the bike and the rider landed on the roadway. Paramedics then brought the motorcyclist to Sacred Heart Hospital.
 
WSP says the driver of the truck also sustained injuries. Responding officers also brought the driver to Sacred Heart.
 
As a result of the collision, officials blocked the left lane of the 90 Freeway eastbound from 10:30 a.m. to around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. It caused major traffic delays in both directions.
 
WSP continues to investigate the crash.
