SPOKANE, WA (September 4, 2024) — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run on West 3rd Avenue on Friday, August 30.
 
According to the Spokane Police Department, the hit-and-run happened on West 3rd Avenue and South Wall Street on Friday morning.
 
Spokane Police said a vehicle struck a man while turning from South Wall Street onto West 3rd Avenue. Then the vehicle fled without checking on the pedestrian.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and administered life-saving measures. However, despite their attempts, the man succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
