REDMOND, WA (June 19, 2024) – Crews closed the westbound lanes of the road following a pedestrian accident on Highway 520 on June 4.
 
The Washington State Patrol said the collision happened at West Lake Sammamish Parkway around 12:45 PM. Based on a report, a person ran into traffic and was struck by a vehicle.
 
There is no information on the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries.
 
WSP and fire crews blocked the two rightmost lanes to give way to clearing and police work.
