EPHRATA, WA (June 19, 2024) — Three people are injured after a six-vehicle accident in a Walmart parking lot on Sunday, June 2.
 
According to the Ephrata Police Department, the accident took place in a Walmart parking lot near Nat Washington Way at about 12:15 p.m. Sunday. They said six cars, a trailer, and a boat were part of the collision.
 
Emergency responder airlifted a 40-year-old woman to the hospital for a broken arm and other injuries.
 
Paramedics also brought a 14-year-old girl to the hospital for minor injuries. The 70-year-old woman who caused the crash also received treatment for injuries.
 
After investigating the scene, EPD believes that the woman who caused the incident experienced a medical emergency before the crash.
