TORRANCE, CA (May 1, 2023) – The Torrance Police Department confirmed the death of a man in a pedestrian accident on Carson Street on April 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Western Avenue at approximately 2:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
