Fatal Motorcycle-Car Crash on Cottle Road and Coronado Avenue in San Jose

SAN JOSE, CA (November 16, 2022) — A motorcyclist died following an accident with a car on Cottle Road and Coronado Avenue on Thursday afternoon, November 10.

The San Jose police dispatched officers to the scene at around 4:11 p.m. Authorities said a man driving a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle north on Cottle Road crashed into a 2006 Honda SUV.

According to reports, the Honda was making a left turn onto eastbound Coronado Avenue on a green turn signal when the accident happened.

The unidentified motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and died at a local hospital.

Meanwhile, the Honda driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
