Injury Reported in DUI Crash on Shields Street and Laurel Street
FORT COLLINS, CO (February 25, 2025) – A man suffered injuries following a DUI crash on Shields Street and Laurel Street on Saturday afternoon, February 22.
According to the Fort Collins Police, the incident happened around 11:51 p.m.
Initial investigation reported that a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck was heading southbound on Shields Street when it struck a tree and a curb. The vehicle, then, hit a second tree, police added.
While investigating the incident, a stationary patrol vehicle was struck by another vehicle suspected of DUI.
The driver that struck two trees suffered serious injuries, police said.
The second driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
