ELBERT COUNTY, CO (February 25, 2025) – One person died following a crash on Highway 86 on Friday morning, February 14.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 8:00 a.m.
 
For reasons still unknown, two semi-trucks and a Ford Explorer collided with each other, police said.
 
The driver of the Ford Explorer died at the scene, authorities confirmed.
 
Investigation into the incident remains open and active.
