Woman Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver Judy Smith in Bremerton
BREMERTON, WA (October 10, 2024) – Kitsap County deputies are looking for 69-year-old Judy Gail Smith following a hit-and-run on Highway 303 on September 21.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened around 6:15 PM. Based on a report, a 64-year-old California woman was walking through the parking lot of Happy Laundry.
Due to unknown reasons, Smith struck her with a silver Chevrolet van driving through the lot. Police said Smith stopped briefly but then sped off.
As a result, the pedestrian suffered significant but non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is now looking for Smith. Deputies issued a $20,000 warrant for her arrest and now ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 911.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
