82-Year-Old Florence Kelly Dies in Dallas Hit-and-Run Crash

 
DALLAS, TX (November 11, 2022) – Police identified 82-year-old Florence Kelly as the victim who died in a hit-and-run crash on Royal Lane on November 7.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Marsh Lane around 11:00 AM. Based on a report, a gray 2005 Toyota Avalon was traveling near the intersection prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it ran a stop sign and slammed into the victim’s car. Subsequently, a teenage boy who was driving the car and two young female passengers got out of their wrecked car and ran from the scene. They left behind a 13-year-old girl who was pinned inside the car.
 
As a result, Kelly died in the incident.
 
The girl who was pinned inside the car was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
 
The crash still is under investigation. As of now, no other information has been released to the public.
