Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Car on 61st Avenue in Glendale

 
GLENDALE, AZ (May 11, 2023) – The Glendale Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on 61st Avenue on May 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Olive Avenue. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle on Olive at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a car made a left turn onto 61st and struck the victim. Investigators said the light was green in both directions.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries. Officers took him to a hospital, where he later died. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the car was not hurt.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
