Diosdado Tzintzunespindo Involved in Rampage Involving 13 Motorists in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 8, 2023) – Police arrested 37-year-old Diosdado Tzintzunespindo of Temecula following accidents on Morton Avenue on May 1.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Echo Park Avenue around 3:00 PM. Based on a report, Tzintzunespindo was driving a silver 2004 Nissan Xterra throughout the Elysian Park and Chinatown areas of Los Angeles at the time of the accidents.
Due to unknown reasons, he deliberately rammed his vehicle into other drivers and parked cars. Investigators identified more than 13 victims, including an LAPD employee who was returning from a lunch break and a Department of Water and Power employee.
Officers did not release an update regarding any injuries sustained in the accidents.
They held Tzintzunespindo on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, with bail set at $440,000.
