Demarcus Evans Fatally Injured after Houston Motorcycle Accident on Cullen Boulevard

 
HOUSTON, TX (April 2, 2024) — A rider identified as 42-year-old Demarcus Evansdied in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, March 23.
 
According to the Houston Police Department, the accident took place on the 7100 block of Cullen Boulevard at around 9:10 p.m.
 
HPD said Evans reportedly navigated his blue Suzuki motorcycle through traffic near Cullen Boulevard. Then he lost control and was thrown off from his motorcycle.
 
At the same time, a gray Dodge Journey, driven by a 35-year-old female, waited to make a left turn into a private driveway. Then the driver saw the motorcycle moving without any rider.
 
As the Dodge turned left, it hit Evans who lay in the roadway after being ejected.
 
Houston Fire Department responded and pronounced Evans dead at the scene.
 
The 35-year-old female driver of the Dodge stayed at the scene. Authorities questioned and subsequently released her.
 
The investigation into the incident is still underway.
