WESTMINSTER, CO (April 2, 2024) – The Westminster Police Department confirmed that one person died in a crash on 76th Avenue on March 23.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Sheridan Boulevard at approximately 8:05 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle crashed in the lanes.
 
As a result, one person suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Several people were taken to hospitals with various injuries.
 
Crews closed Sheridan Boulevard in both directions from 73rd Avenue to 80th Avenue.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
