Alonzo Burrow Jr. Killed, Sandra Molina Arrested after Ennis Hit-and-Run Accident

 
ENNIS, TX (February 14, 2024) — 36-year-old Alonzo Burrow Jr. died in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday, February 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal incident happened when Burrow walked in the northeast lane of traffic on FM 1182.
 
Then at about 6:46 p.m., a silver 2006 Toyota Sienna struck Burrow and fled the scene.
 
Burrow Jr. died due to sustained injuries in the crash.
 
Family members told a local news source that Burrow was walking to his mother’s house when the crash occurred.
 
Officials later identified 26-year-old Sandra Maritza Molina as the hit-and-run driver. They charged her with failure to stop and render aid involving death.
 
Texas DPS said the arrest happened because of the leads provided by citizens to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office and Ellis County Crime Stoppers.
