Charles Drum Fatally Injured in Cleburne Pedestrian Accident
CLEBURNE, TX (November 7, 2024) — A 76-year-old Glen Rose resident, Charles Drum, died in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday, October 29.
According to the Cleburne Police, the incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of West Henderson Street and South Nolan River Road.
Cleburne Police said Drum was crossing northbound West Henderson Street. Then he fell into the roadway. After that, a 2004 Toyota Tundra traveling eastbound on West Henderson struck Drum.
Emergency responders brought Drum to a local hospital, where medical officers later pronounced him dead.
The driver of the Toyota Tundra was not hurt. It is unclear whether the driver stayed at the scene.
The Cleburne Police Department handles the ongoing investigation of the incident.
