DOUGLAS COUNTY, WA (September 28, 2023) – Officers identified 73-year-old Michael Howard who suffered injuries in a crash on Highway 97 on September 23.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 3:59 AM. Based on a report, Howard was driving a motorcycle on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he hit a car that was turning left, going southbound on the highway.
