Child Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 28, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a child died in a pedestrian accident on Charleston Boulevard on September 21.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Lamont Street just before 9:40 PM. Based on a report, the child was attempting to cross the street with a woman.
 
Due to unknown reasons, an RTC bus struck them. Police said the victim were outside of a crosswalk when they were hit. Officers added that Charleston Boulevard is dark a due to street lights that are not working.
 
As a result, the child suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, the investigation into the crash continues. In addition, no other details are available.
