Isaac Anderson Coots Dies After Head-On Crash on FM 3083 at Waukegan Road

 
CONROE, TX (March 1, 2023) — 19-year-old Isaac Anderson Coots of Conroe died after a head-on crash on FM 3083 at Waukegan Road on Tuesday morning, February 21.

The fatal incident, which occurred between Conroe and Grangerland at around 6:15 a.m., involved a GMC Yukon SUV and a Nissan Rouge, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Authorities said the Nissan traveled westbound when it attempted to pass several vehicles. However, it entered the opposite lane in a no-passing zone.

In the process, an eastbound GMC slammed into the Nissan, causing it to flip up upside down.

Coots, a passenger in the Nissan, died at the Conroe Regional Hospital.

Meanwhile, both drivers of the Nissan and GMC survived and received transportation to nearby hospitals in stable condition.

The cause and factors behind the accident remain under investigation. No additional information is undisclosed at this time.
