Martin Aguilar Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (February 23, 2023) – Phoenix Police identified 36-year-old Martin Aguilar who died in a hit-and-run accident on 27th Avenue on February 11.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Bethany Home Road around 1:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, Aguilar was crossing mid-block when he was hit by a vehicle. Subsequently, the driver drove off and headed northbound on 27th.
 
As a result, Aguilar suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
Police did not release any information regarding the suspect vehicle.
