KENNEWICK, WA (February 7, 2023) – Officers identified 40-year-old Ryan J. Shepard of Kennewick as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Olympia Street on January 31.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 14th Avenue shortly after 2:45 AM.
 
Based on a report, Shepard was crossing Olympia at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a southbound pickup truck hit him.
 
As a result, Shepard suffered grave injuries in the incident. Firefighters arrived soon after the collision and Shepard him to a local hospital, where he died.
 
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
