Cement Truck Involved in Fatal Accident on Highway 95 at Chaparral Road in Fort Mohave

 
FORT MOHAVE, AZ (January 17, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a cement truck accident on Highway 95 on January 5.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Chaparral Road around 7:16 AM.
 
Based on a report, a Ford Escape was traveling east on Chaparral prior to the crash. As its driver attempted to make a left-hand turn onto the north side of the highway, it pulled in front of an S&S Concrete truck that was traveling south on Highway 95.
 
Subsequently, the truck struck the sedan as it failed to yield.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced a woman from Bullhead City dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
A passenger in her vehicle was flown to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was not hurt.As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing., the collision happened at Chaparral Road around 7:16 AM.
