Latasha Suzanna Brenda Wright Killed, Chakria Dominique Lee Detained in Killeen Hit-and-Run

 
KILLEEN, TX (December 20, 2022) – Latasha Suzanna Brenda Wright died while Chakria Dominique Lee was arrested after a hit-and-run on Fort Hood Road and West Lane on Sunday evening, December 4.

According to the Killeen Police Department, they received a report of the fatal accident around 10:00 p.m. Initial investigation revealed that Lee struck Wright and left the scene in a light-colored vehicle.

Responding officers arrived at the scene where 39-year-old Wright was seen suffering serious injuries. Life saving measures were attempted but Wright died at the scene.

Lee, who initially fled after the crash, surrendered at the police department. She is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Booked into Bell County Jail, her bail is set at a $1m bond.
