Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Karen Avenue in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 21, 2022) – Police confirmed that a man died in a fatal pedestrian accident in the 1700 block of East Karen Avenue on November 15.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Maryland Parkway around 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was walking outside a cross walk at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a 2011 Mitsubishi Galant struck him.
 
As a result, the man was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The Metropolitan Police Department said the 49-year-old Las Vegas driver did not show signs of impairment and stayed at the scene of the crash. At this point, officers continue to investigate the case.
