BREMERTON, WA (November 21, 2022) – A 60-year man was airlifted to the hospital following a pedestrian accident on Highway 303 on November 16.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened at Furneys Lane at about 9:30 PM. Based on a report, the man was attempting to cross from the northbound shoulder to the southbound shoulder at the time of the crash.
 
The man did not use a designated pedestrian crosswalk. Subsequently, a 25-year-old Bremerton man driving a 2008 blue Ford Ranger pickup headed southbound hit him.
 
As a result, the victim sustained injuries in the incident. Paramedics airlifted the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
 
Police did not suspect drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash.
