Brevyn Bird Arrested after Fatal Crash on Mountain City Highway [Elko, NV]

Brevyn Bird Charged with DUI in Fatal Elko Crash

 
ELKO, NV (November 21, 2022) – Police arrested 25-year-old Brevyn E. Raining Bird of Owyhee following a fatal car crash on Mountain City Highway on November 18.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Wildhorse. Based on a report, Bird was driving along the twisting canyon road when his vehicle rolled off the road and into the river.
 
As a result, Nevada State Police confirmed that his passenger died due to a severe head injury after hitting his head on a large boulder.
 
Police arrested Bird after he told troopers he had consumed multiple beers and hard liquor shots. They charged him with driving under the influence resulting in death or substantial bodily harm, and failure to maintain control on a highway.
