Driver and Deputy Involved in Two-Vehicle Accident on Almeda Road and Shadow Creek Parkway

 
FORT BEND COUNTY, TX (October 18, 2022) – A deputy and a woman were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Almeda Road and Shadow Creek Parkway on October 10.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputy was on his way to respond to a multi-vehicle crash when his patrol motorcycle crashed into another vehicle. The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Almeda Road and Shadow Creek Parkway, just south of Beltway 8.

The woman driving the vehicle was trying to evade traffic by making a U-turn when she hit the deputy.

Due to the impact, the woman sustained a broken arm. The deputy, on the other hand, did not sustain serious injuries.

The woman is not yet facing any charges in connection to the crash until further investigation.
