William Harmon Identified in Fatal Hit-and-Run Driver on Highway 14 in Mexia

 
MEXIA, TX (October 12, 2022) – Police identified 37-year-old William Harmon as the victim in a fatal hit-and-run in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Highway/Highway 14 on October 9.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 1:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, Harmon was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a pickup truck struck him and left the scene.
 
As a result, the Mexia Police Department said an attending coroner pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
As of now, police are looking for the hit-and-run driver. In addition, no further information is available at this time.
