Martin De la Torre Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on 10 Freeway in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (October 4, 2022) – Police identified 38-year-old Martin De la Torre as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on 10 Freeway on October 2.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Lee Trevino Drive around 8:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, De la Torre was eastbound at the time of crash. For an unknown reason, his 2017 Harley-Davidson veered left and crashed into the center concrete barrier.
 
The impact threw him off his motorcycle, where he was run over by a vehicle that did not stop to render aid.
 
As a result, De la Torre died in the incident.
 
El Paso police traffic investigators are handling the incident. At this time no further information is available.
