Eastwood High School Senior Dante Luna Killed in Car Accident on Montwood Drive at Catnip Street [El Paso, TX]

Dante Luna Identified in Fatal Single-Car Accident in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (May 25, 2023) – El Paso Police identified Eastwood High School senior Dante Luna who died in an accident on Montwood Drive on May 23.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Catnip Street around 10:39 AM. Based on a report, Luna was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima westbound on Montwood Drive at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control at a curve and veered to the right before crashing into several wooden barriers and rolling over.
 
As a result, Luna suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
