One Killed in Hit-and-Run on San Dario Avenue in Laredo

 
LAREDO, TX (May 1, 2023) – Officers with the Laredo Police Department confirmed a fatal hit-and-run accident on San Dario Avenue on April 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Lafayette Street shortly after 6:00 AM. Based on a report, a man was trying to cross the street.
 
Subsequently, a vehicle struck the pedestrian and left the scene. Officials did not yet release the details that led to the accident.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials only identified him as a 76-year-old Laredo man.
