Reyes Garza Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Laguna Heights

 
LAGUNA HEIGHTS, TX (May 1, 2023) – Officers confirmed that 66-year-old Reyes Garza died after being struck by a vehicle on Ocean Boulevard on March 30.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Madison Street around 9:08 PM. Based on a report, Garza was trying to cross the street at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a gray Dodge Journey traveling eastbound struck him when he entered the path of the vehicle.
 
As a result, Garza suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The driver of the Dodge stopped and cooperated with the officers.
