Roberto Robles Identified in Fatal Wrong-Way Accident on Highway 281 in Edinburg

 
EDINBURG, TX (April 24, 2023) – Officers identified 46-year-old Roberto Carlos Robles as the victim who died in an accident on Highway 281 on April 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 6:10 PM.
 
Based on a report, Robles was driving a 2014 Nissan Sentra southbound on the northbound lanes of the highway prior to the crash. Subsequently, he collided with a 2021 Lexus GX460.
 
As a result, Robles suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Lexus was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
