Zahir Giovanni Juarez Rojo Dies after Brentwood Trailer Accident

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (January 9, 2024)Zahir Giovanni Juarez Rojo died while three other people sustained injuries following a trailer crash on Highway 4 on Wednesday, December 13.

The fatal incident occurred near Vasco Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Reports indicated that a car being driven by Antonio Juarez who had his autistic eight-year-old son, Zahir, aboard, had traveled on the highway when, for reasons still unknown, a trailer heading in the opposite direction disconnected from its load.

The trailer then ended up along the oncoming traffic lane, colliding into Juarez’s car and several other vehicles.

The accident left Zahir with multiple injuries including a spine fracture. He later died on December 23.

Meanwhile, three other people involved received transport to a hospital in an unknown condition.

Officials are still looking into the factors surrounding the collision.
