SONORA, CA (January 9, 2024) — Joshua Engle, Michael Kindberg and Sherri Lee sustained injuries following a crash on Highway 108 on Tuesday, December 26.

The accident, which occurred west of Hess Avenue, involved a Ford Explorer, a Ford 150, and a Ford Expedition, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials did not indicate the details leading up to the collision but confirmed that the Explorer, 150 and Expedition were driven by 23-year-old Engle, 61-year-old Kindberg, and 70-year-old Lee, respectively.

Respondents were transported via airlift to a hospital in Modesto for treatment of major injuries.

Meanwhile, Lee received transport to Adventist Health Sonora for minor to moderate injuries.

Kindberg suffered minor injuries, which did not require further medical attention.
