Cheyanne Perez, Zackery Lowe Identified in Fatal Accident in Lubbock

 
LUBBOCK, TX (April 3, 2024) – Police identified 31-year-old Zackery Lowe and 23-year-old Cheyanne Perez who died in a motorcycle accident on 46th Street on March 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at Slide Road shortly after 2:00 AM. Based on a report, Lowe was driving a motorcycle with Perez as his passenger in the southbound lanes of Slide Road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he collided with a passenger car driven by 23-year-old Joshua Mendez.
 
As a result, Lowe and Perez suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Mendez suffered minor injuries. Police arrested and transported him to the Lubbock County Detention Center for DWI and unlawful carry of a weapon.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
