Zack Canary Arrested after Colorado Springs Accident

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (December 2, 2024) — Authorities arrested Zack Canary after a two-vehicle accident on Saturday, November 16.
 
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the accident in the 2000 block of North Circle Drive shortly after 8:00 a.m.
 
When they arrived at the scene, they determined one of the involved vehicles was stolen. They also learned that Canara, who drove the stolen car, was running away.
 
After searching the area, police did not find the suspect. Yet, eventually, an investigator on the scene received tips of his location.
 
Police said the suspect attempted to run away by breaking into a home in the 1400 block of Holmes Drive. They said they entered that home while they chased the suspect, who reportedly went through the back door.
 
After that, the suspect fled through multiple backyards, where the officers eventually caught and arrested Canary. They then brought him to the El Paso County jail. He currently faces multiple felony charges, including burglary and motor vehicle theft.
