Yuly Ramirez Arrested after DUI Truck Accident in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (May 30, 2023) — Authorities arrested Yuly Gomez Ramirez after she rammed her pickup into another car multiple times.
 
According to Phoenix police, the incident happened on 23rd Avenue and Indian School Road on Friday, May 26.
 
The caller told 911 that a pickup truck followed their car after it rammed their vehicle multiple times.
 
Police found that truck near 35th Avenue and Missouri Avenue. At this point, police tried to make a traffic stop on the truck. That is when the truck driver reportedly let a passenger out of the car and went on her way.
 
Officers did not pursue the truck. However, a police helicopter followed the truck until it crashed near Thomas Road and 43rd Avenue.
 
Authorities then arrested the driver identified as Yuly Gomez Ramirez and learned she was under the influence while driving. They brought her into custody after the incident.
 
Police also found three children inside the truck after the crash. None of them suffered multiple injuries.
 
Ramizes faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and aggravated DUI.
