Anthony Figueroa and Yesena Lopez Hit by DUI Driver Isaiah Armenta in North Las Vegas

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (February 7, 2023) – Officers identified Yesena Lopez, Anthony Figueroa who suffered serious injuries in a DUI crash on Cheyenne Avenue and Civic Center Drive on January 19.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, Isaiah Joseph Armenta was driving close to 100 mph at the time of the crash. As he traveled towards the intersection, he lost control and hit the couple’s car at a red light.
 
As a result, Figueroa and Lopez sustained major injuries in the incident.
 
Police said Armenta was impaired at the time of the crash.
 
At this point, an investigation is still ongoing. No other information is known at this time.
 
Lopez and Figueroa are now dealing with medical bills as they recover and their family members have started a GoFundMe page for them.
