Jesus Gallardo-Urbina Killed in Tucson Truck Crash on 10 Freeway

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 6, 2023) – Tucson police identified 31-year-old Jesus Gallardo-Urbina from Mexico as the victim who died in a crash on 10 Freeway on January 31.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Valencia Road around 4:00 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving an 18-wheeler truck on the westbound side of the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
There was road construction and he crashed into an occupied traffic control vehicle, ejecting him into the ground.
 
As a result, Gallardo-Urbina died at the scene after sustaining grave injuries.
 
The driver of the traffic control vehicle suffered only minor injuries.
