Yareli Dominguez, Leslie Dominguez, and Salas Sifuentes Fatally Injured in San Antonio Car Accident

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 3, 2024) — Yareli Dominguez, Leslie Dominguez, and Salas Sifuentes died in an accident on Friday, November 22.
 
San Antonio Police Department said the collision happened a little before 5:00 a.m. along Roosevelt Avenue, near Sava Street.
 
Investigators said a 46-year-old suspect drove at a high rate of speed. Then he collided with the back of a vehicle occupied by the three victims. After that, the force of the impact pushed the victim’s vehicle into oncoming traffic, where another vehicle struck it.
 
First responders pronounced all three victims dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner has identified them as 22-year-old Yareli Brilliant Salas Dominguez, 25-year-old Leslie Jaqueline Salas Dominguez, and 61-year-old Salas Sifuentes, their father.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics brought the driver of the other vehicle to the hospital in stable condition.
 
The suspect fled on foot after the crash. Officers later tracked and took the suspect into custody. They charged him with failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.
 
Officers closed the road for several hours and reopened it on Friday afternoon.
